Product Description
A Blooming Gold Kumkum Box with a Ruby-Studded Lid, Small Enough to Gift and Striking Enough to Display
The lid of this antique gold box is covered in tiny ruby-red stones set in a diamond lattice, framed by a ring of overlapping gold leaves edged with small gold balls, like a flower in full bloom. A granulated pillar knob topped with a lotus bud makes it easy to lift. Below, a woven-textured band is set with oval ruby-red and emerald-green stones, and a hook latch with a gold ball drop holds it closed. The box rests on a scalloped leaf-petal foot. Use it for kumkum, haldi or chandan during pooja, or for rings and small keepsakes, or place it on a pooja shelf, dressing table or festive table.
